Thank you for visiting The Happy Clam Seafood Restaurant, family owned and operated locally, by the Moncure family since 1979.  We had a brief interruption, courtesy of Hurricane Isabel, between 2003 and 2007.  Thanks to the Blunt Brothers we were able to reopen in this scenic location on Monroe Bay, where wildlife abounds and many golf carts venture.  Relax and enjoy the osprey, bald eagles, swans, geese, blue herons, and many varieties of ducks while dining on food that has been prepared from scratch by hand with our passion for seafood.  We use local produce and seafood of the highest quality for the best price possible.  Often we are able to serve seafood caught by us, cleaned and cooked up in our kitchen for you to order.  Our produce is from local farmers with whom the Moncure’s have been friends with for decades.  We are proud to serve the local goods that Colonial Beach has to offer.  We prepare each meal to order with constant effort for your satisfaction and enjoyment.  We want you to have many more memories of the Happy Clam in our new location and we appreciate the opportunity to serve you again!
